Sligachan Old Bridge, on Skye, with the towrists humanely eradicated. I did dip my fizzog into the waters as the legend dictates,
but sadly eternal beauty was not to be had.
About me
Basically what you'll find here is a load of nonsense and a few pics, from a somewhat broken down and bedbound auld blether who really should know better. I am very proud to say both the blethering skite and the pictures are of and from Scotland.
(Disclaimer) I feel the need to point out there are no swearie words on this site. There may be words that look a bit like swearie words, but that's not the same thing is it? So those of you with more genteel sensibilities can continue to read through the site. Safe in the knowlege your genteel will remain intact. Should your genteel not remain in one piece or become somewhat tarnished. Then you have in your mind converted a non-swearie word into a swearie one. So it remains upon me to point out this can in no way be considered my fault and I refuse to accept responsibility, liability, or any other ...ility you can come up with.
My purpose in creating this blog is to make you smile. That's all you're required to do. And maybe like, all/some/none of the pics, also mine. My little pieces of nonsense are of varying lengths from a couple of lines to whatever. They try to be poignant, funny, ridiculous and occasionally even painful, for me that is, but still funny. Lastly pretty much all of the initial posts have been crafted over the last few years.
To give you an idea... My Echo Show had a question on screen t'other day. "What's the opposite of irony?" and my first thought was 'wrinkly'. Not particularly hilarious, silly even, but it made me smile at the time.
And that's the point of blethersnhavers. To make you smile at the time... ...and maybe again later.
I understand that I am what I am, because had I understood I should have come to an understanding, at the point in my life when coming to an understanding would have been understandable. Then understanding my misunderstandings then would not have found me to be so understandably misunderstood now.
